Delete your account

Simply Today

You can permanently delete your Simply Today account and associated data at any time. Deletion cannot be undone.

Delete in the app

  1. Open Simply Today on your iPhone or Android device and sign in.
  2. Tap the account icon in the app header.
  3. Scroll to Delete account and tap it.
  4. Review what will be deleted, then confirm to permanently delete your account.

Request deletion by email

If you cannot access the app, email dwwhalen@gmail.com from the address tied to your account. Include the email you use to sign in (or note that you use Sign in with Apple or Google Sign-In). We will verify ownership and delete your account within a few business days.

What we keep

After you delete your account, we do not keep a copy of your activities, daily plans, or account information for ongoing use. Our hosting and database providers (Supabase) may retain encrypted backups for a short period as part of routine disaster recovery. Those backups are overwritten on a normal rotation and are not used to restore individual deleted accounts.

Retention period

Account deletion in the app is processed immediately. Any residual backup copies held by our providers typically expire within their standard backup window (generally up to a few weeks). We do not define a separate retention period beyond that infrastructure practice.
